Rehab at Shannondell is a five-story skilled nursing facility with a basement that totals 172,000 SF. It is a state-of-the-art facility housing 190 private patient rooms that include a private bath in each. The building includes four distinct wings. The front wing is comprised of Bistro style dining as well as spaces for therapy, socializing and offices. The fourth floor is designed primarily for short term recuperation and therapy, and has its own ground-floor entry and waiting area with an elevator to access this floor only. Other spaces on this floor include a dining venue, a living room with vaulted ceilings and a vast rehabilitation area. Mechanical features include a bulk oxygen system with outlets in each patient room, a water source heating and cooling system and a large generator that provides emergency backup power for lighting, elevators, food service and power to each room.
